Pollinator Tour of Commonwealth Gardens on Southwest Path

Join us at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and Southwest Path!

Saturday, August 20

9:00-11:00 am

Walk or bike by to learn more about native plants and bees, butterflies, and other insects at this registered pollinator site tended by neighborhood volunteers. Join your neighbors for this informative, family-friendly event!

David Thompson of “Monarchs for Kids” will bring monarch display tents with live eggs, caterpillars, and (we hope) young monarchs! This event is co-sponsored by Regent and Dudgeon-Monroe Neighborhood Association volunteers, Friends of Lake Wingra, and The Wild Ones. Commonwealth Gardens was originally co-funded by a City of Madison Community Planning Grant in 2014.
