Dudgeon Monroe is the Place to be in June!

These are some of the events that the DMNA volunteers are organizing:

Wednesday, June 3, 7:00 - DMNA Neighborhood Council meeting at Wingra School

Saturday, June 6, 9:00 to Noon - Glenwood Children’s Park Work Day (with a short refreshment break at 10:30)
We will be planting two five-foot trees, some plants and do some weeding
Bring your own gloves if possible.
We will have a limited number of gloves and tools.
This is at the same time as the UW Arboretum Oak Savanna restoration which occurs the first Saturday of each month - year round, at the Arboretum Parking Lot located at the corner of Arbor Dr. and Monroe St

Saturday, June 20 - Jazz in the Park
9:30-Noon - Lake Wingra Cleanup - Wingra Boat House

2:30-8:00 - Jazz in the Park, Wingra Park.
2:30 - Edgewood College Jazz Ensemble
4:15 - Groove Merchants Jazz Quartet
6:00 - West Side Andy/Mel Ford Band
3:00 - 5:30 - Children's activities (Fire engine on display from 3:00 - 5:00) - Wingra Park

Saturday, June 20, 6:00 - 10:00 - Solstice Fire at Glenwood Children’s Park
Bring your own beverages, brats, hotdogs if you wish.
We will supply the fire, skewers, marshmallows, Hershey bars and graham crackers.
