DMNA Annual Meeting
Come join your neighbors at our DMNA Annual Meeting. We will elect new officers, enjoy some treats together, and learn from a panel on Immigrant Rights.
The Social Justice Committee hopes you will come to hear a special presentation by a panel composed of representatives from three local organizations who serve immigrants.
You will learn of the work of the Community Immigration Law Center (CILC), the Madison Chapter of Voces de la Frontera, and Centro (the family service center for the Latinx community and a weekly 4-8 pm outdoor Market open to all every Thursday).

Summer is here, and nothing says that more than First Friday, June 5, and the first of the Music By the Water evenings, sponsored by DMNA and Wingra Boats. Stroll Monroe Street for events featuring art and artists, and food for First Friday, and include time down by Lake Wingra where the Monroe Street Art Center will host kids’ activities from 5:00 to 6:00, and the evening will flow with live music, food, picnic blankets, and people visiting and building community in one of our neighborhood’s treasured locations.

DMNA "R" Sale - Neighborhood Garage Sale
You know the four Rs – Reduce, reuse, repurpose, recycle. Let’s add redistribute! The DMNA “R” sale this year will join with neighborhood garage sales in Westmorland and Sunset Village neighborhoods as well.
The Salvation Army will be picking up left over items upon request. A list of the items that Salvation Army will not take will be available soon and sent out to those you wish to participate.

Winter Solstice Bonfire
The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder, but fear not! The annual DMNA Winter Solstice Bonfire is here to bring some light and cheer to the season.
Join us on Sunday, December 21, from 3-9 PM at the Glenwood Children's Park for a night of s’mores, Madison Chocolate Company’s hot chocolate, and good company.
We're looking for volunteers to help set up, clean up, and keep the bonfire going. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact Amy Thurlow at amy.thurow@gmail.com.
Let's come together as a community to celebrate the Winter Solstice and enjoy the warmth of the fire. We can't wait to see you there!
