Jennifer Giegerich, Government Affairs Director from Wisconsin Conservation Voters, will speak about ways that we each can leverage programs to help fight climate change. Specifically, President Biden's Affordable Clean Energy Plan has created opportunities to save energy while taking steps to reduce your climate footprint. A short business meeting and election of DMNA Officers will precede the program. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Join your neighbors for the annual solstice celebration at the Glenwood Children's Park. It will be held on Thursday, December 21st from 4-7pm. It will provide a roaring fire in the council ring, hot chocolate provided by Madison Chocolate Company and a chance to connect with your neighbors.

Madison Good Neighbor Gathering 2023 - Bigger and Better Than Ever!

Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 10th, noon to 5 pm, for the “kiddapalooza” of area festivals: The Madison Good Neighbor Gathering (GNG)! Last year we were rained out but this year we hope the weather gods will be kind to us! For the third year, Brittingham Park will be the place for fun, food and friendship. Coordinated by the Neighborhood House Community Center and sponsored by seven neighborhood associations (Baycreek, Bayview, Dudgeon Monroe, Green Bush, Monona Bay, Triangle, Vilas), this public event is open to all. Kids and families will enjoy a dual inflatable slide, dance classes, games, Wild Rumpus circus activities, lots of music (including Don’t Mess with Cupid), a bike parade, food carts, and much more! Thanks to the support of DMNA and Vilas neighborhood associations, as well as many businesses in the Monroe Street, Regent Street and Park Street areas, this event is free and open to the public. If you would like to help keep this event free, we are looking for additional financial donations as well as volunteers. DMNA "R" Sale is Set for August 19, 2023

The Social Justice Committee of the Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood Association has set the date for our neighborhood’s designated day to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle our household items by holding a yard/garage sale. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, August 19th from 8 am till 2 pm.

If you wish to participate in the August 19th "R" sale please register by August 1st. Email your address and general item list to socialjustice@dmna.org. And let us know if you can help with publicity to insure we get lots of people to visit our R sales.
